Markers: Stampin’ Write 2009 In-Colors Set
Card Base: Basic Gray (5 ½ X 8 ½)
Cut pieces: Sahara Sand 2X2
Crushed Curry – 2 ¾ X 2 3/4
Bermuda Bay – 4 ¼ X 3 ¼
Cut ribbon: Rich Razzelberyy 5 ½”
1.
Stamp the “bird and flower” image from the Fun and Fast Notes
Stamp set onto the Sahara Sand cardstock.
Use the In-Color Stampn’ Write Markers to color the image. (I used
Bermuda bay for the flower, Mambo Melon for the bird and Crushed Curry for the
wing and flower center.)
2.
Adhere ribbon to the left side of the Bermuda Bay cardstock.
3.
Stamp the “happy St. Patrick’s day” stamp form the Teeny Tiny
Wishes set to the bottom right corner of the Bermuda Bay piece.
4.
Adhere the Crushed Curry piece to the Bermuda Bay piece,
centering it.
5.
Adhere the bird and flower image to the Crushed Curry piece,
centering it.
6.
Tear the right side of the Basic Gray cardstock about a ¼ inch
from the edge.
7.
Use the flat side of the “brush” end of the Crushed Curry
Stampn’ Write Marker to shade the torn edge.
8.
Adhere the Bermuda Bay piece to the Card Base, centering it.
You’re finished!
Step it up:
1. Inking only the flower image of the bird and flower image, randomly
stamp aroung the edges of the Card Base.
2. Follow
steps 6 & 7 above.
3. After
step 1 above, slide the flat edge of the Bermuda Bay marker along the
OUTSIDE edges of the Sahara Sand piece, creating a “frame” around the
piece. Do this until it is as dark
as you like.
4. Use
the 2-way pen and the Dazzeling Diamonds on the flower and the wing and
eye of the bird.
5. Use
the Big Shot and the small flower image of the Stampin' Up Backgrounds 1 to texturize the Crushed Curry
cardstock.
6. Follow
the rest of the instructions above.
